Betty's card really caught my eye.  The card is so sweet and I especially liked the pine boughs and berries she added to embellish her card.

Karren's Choice:

Katie's tag was such a great representation of the inspiration pic!  Her truck is so beautifully colored and I just love the plaid background.

Inspired By All The Little Things Featuring Anita Madden

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

This week I have invited Anita Madden from Just a Pigment of my Imagination.

As well as having a really clever blog name, Anita also provides amazing blog content!  Her cards are always delightful and her Copic coloring is out of this world!  I'm so glad she accepted my invitation to join me this week.

I asked Anita to share a bit about herself...

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

My blog is “Just A Pigment Of My Imagination”.  I loved visiting everyone’s blogs to see their beautiful work so in 2010 I took the plunge and started my own blog.

2. What is your style of card making?

I would say my style is Clean and Simple, although I do enjoy adding some fun embellishments.

3. Who inspires you as a designer?

There are so many talented cardmakers out there and I’m inspired by all of them.

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?

I would have to say my favorites are sketches and I love playing along in sketch challenges when I have the time.  I also like photo inspirations and think it’s so fun to see everyone’s take on the same photo.  I also get inspiration from designers and of course Pinterest.

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?

I am married to my high school sweetheart.  We’ve been together for 40 years and he is truly my best friend.

Here is Anita's card using this week's inspiration!

The challenge designers have also created a card for this week's inspiration! These ladies just inspire me SO much!!! I hope you will play along with us this week! We would love to have you join us!

Inspired by Silke Ledlow & Christmas

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

Lesley here!
This week I have invited the talented Silke Ledlow! Silke is one of my most favourite designers. I have had a crafty crush on her for such a long time! I love the way she creates such clean, crisp and elegant designs. Welcome, Silke!

Silke Ledlow

I asked Silke to share a bit about herself...

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?
Hi everyone! My blog name is “My Life”….. A little over 10 years ago when my three girls were little, I needed to escape the everyday craziness for a few hours and decided to give      scrap-booking a try. I quickly realized, that I had tooooo many pictures and not enough time. Shortly after my scrap-booking failure I was introduced to stamping and immediately enjoyed crafting cards….the rest is history. Along with card making I discovered the “Splitcoaststamper” world. I also followed the trend of creating my own blog to feature my creations.  My first post was actually on 9/16/2007.

2.  What is your style of card making?
To be honest it depends on my mood…I have been a roller coaster over the years, but I think I would categorize myself between “Clean and Simple”and “Classy and Elegant”.

3. Who inspires you as a designer?
Amy Sheffer, Laurie Schmidlin, Laurie Willison, Sheri Gilson, Tracey McNeely,
Gina K., Melanie Muenchinger, and the list could go on and on!

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers? I’m a big fan of color and sketch challenges…plus any kind of inspiration challenges like “Inspired by All the Little Things”. I’m also very lucky to be part of some design teams, so my inspiration is coming from everywhere!

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?
I’m big into College Football. My favorite team is the University of Alabama..…ROLL TIDE!!!  I also enjoy watching my girls play school and club volleyball. We recently moved back to the great State of Texas and I’m loving it!!!

Here is Silke's card using this week's inspiration!

The challenge designers have also created a card for this week's inspiration! These ladies just inspire me SO much!!! I hope you will play along with us this week! We would love to have you join us!

Joyce's Choice...

3. Cat Craig

I loved the simplicity of Cat Luvs Paper's card.  She incorporated so many wonderful elements of the inspiration photo--the chalkboard, Christmas theme, and the red and green into her card, and yet her card was not busy at all.  This card would also be perfect for mailing.

Tracey's Choice

18. Michele Ferguson

Everything about Michele's card seemed inspired by the photo to me, from the beautiful scripted chalkboard behind the lovely window frame and wreath with the delicate pops of red.

Congratulations ladies and make sure you grab your badge.

Thank you so much Joyce for joining me as my guest this challenge. Join us again in the new year when Inspired By All the Little Things is back to bring you more challenges for 2017!

Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!
